Larsen Aurora Violin Strings are a fantastic string choice for those on a lower budget, albeit student violins, or just for those not wanting to spend $100 on a set of violin strings. They are made with the newer technologies of today, so you will get way more for your money here with these, with the synthetic core technology that makes for a nice, warm and responsiveness found in more expensive sets. While for full set, 4/4 size, we offer both medium or strong gauges, only medium gauge is offered the smaller fractional sizes (1/4 to ¾). With the full size Aurora only, the default D string is aluminum, but offer a D Silver option.
