Larsen Il Canonne series comes in two distinct string sets, Medium and Soloist. The Mediums were at first simply called Warm and Broad, but Larsen still has a designated A string option, distinctly called “Warm and Broad”. The Soloist set, also once referred to as Direct and Focused. (Just so our customers will not spend hours looking for a name, no longer in use, or they see them still going by their former names and are
confused.)

Also, the E strings which at first came either as a loop, or a ball end, now are nicely re- done with one E string only, with a removable ball for those that need a loop end. About Larsen’s Four A strings: Larsen offers, Medium A, Warm and Broad medium A, Soloist A and a distinct Warm and Broad Soloist A, which as the name implies, a Soloist ‘Warm and Broad A” will tend to belong to the rest of a Soloist tension.
